Item 8.01.         Other Events

On April 17, 2020, Peoples Bank, a subsidiary of NorthWest Indiana Bancorp, issued a news  release announcing its participation in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program, in order to help small businesses maintain their workforce during the Coronavirus (COVID-19). A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
